Jesse M. Goldfine

Jesse began his career in Boston as a corporate associate at Choate, Hall & Stewart. He then practiced at Barr & Associates in Stowe from 2003-2014, specializing in real estate and general business law.

Jesse graduated from Boston University School of Law, with honors, in 2001, and from Franklin and Marshall College in 1997. During law school, Jesse served as Editor of the Annual Review of Banking Law, was the recipient of the Dean’s Book Award, was honored as a G. Joseph Tauro Distinguished Scholar, and worked at the law firm Epstein, Becker & Green.

Jesse represents the firm’s clients in the areas of real estate and general business law. Jesse’s real estate practice focuses on commercial and residential transactions, condominium law, land use, development, leasing, and financing. His business practice includes entity selection and formation, asset and stock transactions, employee matters, equity and debt financing (conventional and angel/venture capital), trademark and intellectual property protection, contract drafting and negotiation, resolution of business disputes, and general business advice for small, medium and large companies.

Jesse serves on the board of directors of the Stowe Land Trust and the Stowe Mountain Bike Club. He is a guest lecturer at Vermont Law School and also serves as a judge in Vermont Law School's Appellate Advocacy Program. Jesse was admitted to practice in Vermont and Rhode Island in 2003, and in Massachusetts in 2002.

Jesse lives in Stowe with his wife and two children. In his free time he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking and other outdoor activities.
